About Aylmer Fair
Aylmer Fair is a non-profit society run by the OAAS
(Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies).
We are celebrating our 166th year as an agricultural
fair, and are the oldest agricultural fair in District
13. We are run by a board of Directors, and
volunteers in our area.
We have several annual events - Home & Garden Show (April
2013), Aylmer Fair
(August 2012), Haunted House (every week-end in October
2012)
Message from our President
Hello again!
Congratulations to the Town of Aylmer on its 125th Anniversary.
I would like to welcome you to our 166th Aylmer & East Elgin
Agricultural Fair. Hoping everyone had a great summer so far! I myself spent
much of it on crutches. When you see someone walking with 2 pieces of wood
wedged in their armpits, offer them a hand because they need it. I speak from
experience!
The Board and Volunteers have once again out done themselves. Thank you! They
work hard each year putting their hands and heads together to give you, The Fair
Goer, the best bang for your buck!
I would like to welcome 2 new participants to our Fair. We are pleased to
include Aylmer Community Living to the Fair family. Please take time to notice
the painting on the bay wall here at the fairgrounds, this is their artwork. I
am also pleased to welcome The Vintage Garden Tractors, please drop in to enjoy
their displays/contests, located by the Poultry Barn.
The Board welcomes any new members or volunteers with their ideas because new
ideas are what make good entertainment and an educational fair.
Have a great time and See you at the midway!
President
