Ambassador Show

My name is Kelsey Berkelmans; I was elected the 2010-2011 Ambassador for the Aylmer Fair. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as the Aylmer Fair Ambassador. I was able to help out with some events organized by the Aylmer Fair Board such as the Haunted House, the Santa Clause Parade, Strawberry Fest and a few other events.

I have gained many new skills from taking on the task of being the Fair Ambassador. My public speaking skills have improved immensely.  I consider myself very privileged to work with the amazing people at the fair board this year. I would especially like to thank Scott Lewis for putting up with my less than forgiving school schedule as I attended university for the first time this year. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Elaine Earhart for keeping me informed on up-coming events and for helping me through this year showing me exactly what to do. Thank you to the entire fair board staff for including me in your “Fair Board Family”.  Thank you to all those who supported me through-out this year your encouragement meant a lot.

I feel extremely privileged to have had this opportunity. I encourage more people to try to become the fair ambassador; it’s a great experience and opportunity.
