2009-10 AYLMER FAIR JUNIOR AMBASSADOR
Ciara Willcocks-Carroll
My name is Ciara Willcocks-Carroll and I was elected the 2009/2010 Junior Ambassador for the Aylmer Fair. I enjoyed my time as the Junior Ambassador immensely. Being able to help out at all the events including, The Aylmer Fair, Breakfast with Santa, The Santa Clause Parade and many more. The experiences you gain while doing this are amazing, and so are the people. It’s a great way to get involved in the community.
Every event I went to I looked forward to hearing “Oh, so you’re the Fair Queen” because unfortunately there was no Ambassador this year I was the only one. I would correct them with a smile and continue on with the conversation. I was very privileged to work with such a great group of people. I would really like to thank Scott Lewis, Dev Chmarney, the entire Fair Board and staff. I would especially like to thank Erica Unger; she would help me out at events. She showed me what to do and I thank her for it, without her I would have been very lost. Lastly I’d like to thank my parents, when I was at an event they would come support and watch me. I’m very privileged to be able to have this experience and I look forward to
helping out again next year. I encourage more people to try to become the Junior Ambassador; it’s a greatexperience and opportunity.
