Junior Ambassador Competition
The Ambassador Committee is
pleased to continue with the Junior Ambassador
Competition, which is intended to be a stepping-stone to
the Ambassador Competition. It will provide an
opportunity for youth to get experience before entering
the Ambassador Competition and to represent the Aylmer
Fair at local events
·
Contestants may be
male or female and must be between the ages of 13 and 16
and be a resident of Elgin County.
·
Contestants will be
asked to make a “Photo Resume” and introduce themselves
to the judges based on the resume.
·
All contestants are
asked to participate on Friday of the Fair getting to
know their way around.
·
All contestants are
encouraged to attend all three days of the fair.
·
The winner will be
announced during the Opening Ceremonies of the Aylmer
Fair on Friday August 12/11 at 7:00 pm
Sponsorship of the
contestants is open to businesses, service clubs,
churches or individuals etc. Sponsors must provide their
contestant with a sash with sponsor’s name and there is
no entry fee for this event. Corsages/boutonnieres are
not required, as they will be supplied by the Fair
Board. All ambassador expenses after the crowning will
also be covered by the Fair Board.
